Learning and teaching
Taught multimedia while finishing a degree in software engineering, after building and running the university's SCORM e-learning system on Moodle.
Engineer
Delivered more than fifteen web solutions and commercial applications for government and private clients, from database design to client presentations.
Telemedicine software for a US and Israeli health monitoring company: REST services behind its iOS and Android apps, plus web front and back ends.
Senior engineer
Services for a media group reaching more than 100 million unique visitors a month across automotive, health, shopping and travel.
A custom multi-tenant CMS on ASP.NET MVC, with rapid prototyping and technology research.
Lead and manager
Led a team of 20+ to rebuild a major platform from scratch for more than 20,000 users across a dozen clients, while keeping the old one running. Everyone migrated, and the platform was later acquired.
Managed and mentored 20+ developers and architects across international projects: a healthcare app using BLE beacons for service tracking, a recruiting network for high-school athletes on AWS, and a loyalty platform with location-based push.
Architect
Led two core products, Media Catalog and Workflow Catalog, for a fast-growing surgical innovation division. Event-driven systems on Kafka, facial recognition, image processing and single sign-on, with an international team.
Designed the authorisation and approval system across a microservices platform on AWS.
Architected a next-generation computer-aided dispatch platform used by US law enforcement and fire departments: multi-tenant with agency isolation, real-time dispatch and unit tracking, and geospatial intelligence.
Founder
Builds and runs platforms for Ohrid's public parking, Plasnomic in US collision repair, DoorFi in US delivery and DakaLift, with a senior team that works alongside AI agents.
